The Bel Canto Chorus (Sudbury, Ontario) is a community choir established in 1975. Our motto -- Sing Together, Share Together -- conveys our love of singing and sharing the gift of music.

Our season goes from September to May, with two concerts: one at Christmas and the other in the Spring.

In addition to the two concerts, we also participate in community events, such as the Sudbury Music Festival, and we perform with other great musicians, including the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra.

🎉 Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at The Bel Canto Chorus's final weekend to celebrate our 50th anniversary. It's an event like no other, and we want you to be there! We have our 50 years of favorite concerts on April 30th and May 1st (7:30 pm start) and then our special GALA concert on May 3rd (2:00 pm start) with special guest Joey Niceforo. 🎉

Celebrating 50 Years of Choral Music

Welcome to this golden anniversary year for The Bel Canto Chorus. This choir had its beginnings in 1975. Actually, the choir began much earlier, as part of the Sudbury Philharmonic Society, presenting musical events in conjunction with the Sudbury Symphony.
